FAQ - Marseille Trail Experience 2024

Before Registering

What age do you need to be to participate?

For the 21 km: You must be at least 18 years old, i.e., born before December 31, 2006.

For the 12 km: You must be at least 16 years old, therefore born before December 31, 2008.

Can I register without using the internet?

No, registration must be done exclusively online through our dedicated platform. No registrations by mail, phone, or in person are accepted.

Is a sports license necessary to participate?

No, not necessarily. However, every participant must complete the Health Prevention Pathway (PPS) via the FFA website or present a valid sports license on the day of the event.

Is a medical certificate mandatory?

No, for adults, the medical certificate is replaced by the PPS for registration. However, minor participants must still provide a specific health questionnaire.

Are registrations open until the day of the event?

Online registrations will be open until 2 days before the event. No registration will be possible on site.

What gifts are planned for the participants?

Each participant will receive a bag containing goodies from our partners, given out when collecting the bib.

Once Registered

How do I know if my registration is confirmed?

A registration confirmation will be sent to you by email once your online registration is finalized. Check your spam folder if you do not see this email.

Is it possible to change the distance of my race after registration?

Yes, changes are possible up to 14 days before the event, subject to availability and within the limit of available spots.

Is it possible to transfer my registration to another person?

Yes, you can transfer your registration to another person up to 7 days before the event, following the procedure indicated on the registration platform.

The Courses

Are the courses accessible to all levels?

Yes, the courses have been designed to be accessible to all, from beginners to experienced runners, with varying elevations and distances for each skill level.

After the Race

Are sanitary facilities provided?

Toilets will be available on site, but there will be no showers. Plan accordingly.

Is a massage or physiotherapy service available after the race?

Yes, a recovery area with massage services will be available for runners at the finish line.

Where and when will the results be published?

Results will be available on the official event website shortly after the races end.

Weekend Schedule

Friday, November 8: Bib collection and expo opening on the Esplanade de la Major, from 4 PM to 7 PM.

Saturday, November 9: Continuation of bib collection from 9 AM to 7 PM, followed by a pasta party starting at 7 PM and the official inauguration at 8 PM.

Sunday, November 10: Races start at 7:30 AM for the 21km and at 8 AM for the 12km. The expo remains open from 9 AM to 6 PM. The end of the races is followed by the award ceremony and a concert.
